I created Simple Country Living to be able to share simple ways to live a more simplified greener life by using items and clothing we already have in our home and garden.

There's something special about being able to take something we have and make it into something new and exciting.

Although we didn't intend on being eco-friendly, it's something that happen, and I love it. Being able to create something new from something old is so rewarding and with the extra benefit of being friendly to the environment is even better.

Reducing landfill is something we all strive to do for a number of different reasons for us all but can be hard to know where to start these days.

I also look for second-hand stores that have their own story to tell, from the op-shop in Morphett Vale SA that provides funding and assistance to homelessness and even provides to anyone who needs it free bread when in store. These are the stories that make purchasing a gift for someone even that more special.

The Founder

The founder of Simple Country Living is passionate about living a simple life and being as sustainable as possible. Looking after ourselves, your budget and the environment is so important to me.

I live on a small farm in the south of South Australia. This is where I find the passion and at times the need to be resourceful and make things we needed from items already here on the farm. I wanted to share this with you as well, showing that with a little creative thinking you can turn anything into something special.

We know that good quality products can help to improve and simplify your life especially in the busy world we live in today and quality is guaranteed cos we already own it.
